Dust is a major challenge during tunnel excavation, drilling and blasting. Our Tunnel Wet Dust Collection Fan is designed to control airborne dust near the tunnel working face and provide a cleaner working environment.

The system combines high-volume airflow, water-spray dust collection and mechanical filtration in one unit. Dust-laden air is drawn into the fan, fine dust is captured by water mist, remaining particles are filtered by washable filter screens, and cleaner air is discharged back into the tunnel.

How Does It Work?

Dust-Laden Air → Fan → Water Spray → Washable Filter Screens → Clean Air

Fine dust particles are captured by sprayed water droplets and collected through the bottom drainage system. The air then passes through removable and washable filter screens for secondary filtration.

Tunnel working faces continuously move forward during excavation. For this reason, the complete tunnel dust collector can be mounted on a truck or mobile platform and relocated together with construction progress.
